In 2005 I discovered I could combine my photography with my polymer clay to create wearable art. Most of my images are my photographs, others from found and collected vintage prints.
Since November of 2008 I've been working in my studio at the Green Dog Gallery in the Englewood District of Independence. Being in this atmosphere with 7 other artists has allowed me to really grow and expand my line of artwork.
I've recently learned the art of silver smithing and I am very excited to start creating a new line of jewelry. I have also begun recycling vintage beads and jewelry into new modern and unique pieces.
